![]() I poured my heart and soul into this thread lol. ![]() (Jesus Christ, eff that 2 pieces of media rule. Even though as a collector of gems, I know all too well, it's inevitable. Queue times could take 20 minutes.Īnd honestly, I don't want to see that happen to any other games I think have great promise and the gameplay to back it up. Another game that I loved, thought had promise, and also filled a space in gaming that didn't offer many options. In a previous thread by someone else, I brought up this game and Atlas Reactor. I still want to discuss how hard it is for certain multiplayer games to reach an audience. For people who like 2D platformer action, fighting games, area brawlers, etc. But this is me giving my shot at trying to vouch for this title. Especially after my exhaustion of League of Legends and Overwatch. Ever since I first found out about Hyper Universe(referral link attached) last year from checking out gameplay footage on Steparu's YouTube, I've always been excited to play the game. I really think this game could have a great future but it's hard for newer games especially original titles from nobodies or games from publishers without a great amount of clout to break the mold. Welcome to my stealth Hyper Universe thread. You can always reach out to these people be it the forums or discord. Ranked is always dry, mostly due to the small player base, but new players could always boost the scene.Īlso, I forgot to mention that they have a great team when it comes to feedback and updates. The community is very active and has a discord despite at mostly having about 200 players active weekly (You will see the same players a lot, and might even get that salt re-up against terrible teammates who are now on the enemies side. But as a firm believer in supporting good games, especially titles you personally enjoy. I often try to entice others to give it a shot but they're either hesitant because it's not popular, it's not League and the Nexon relation. Also, it's even possible to get snowballed like 03-20 and make a surprise comeback if your team makes a great play.īut despite all of this it's not popular. Matches are usually short between 9-15 minutes with a 20-minute match being the longest. Currently, there's two with a new tower defense/multiplayer map coming in two days, and a Deathmatch map coming later on this year. This game also incorporates multiple maps instead of the same map.
